Scammed the hell out of customers, didn't pay employees, or magazines who were providing advertising, ran away when people started asking questions and wanting their money/products.

I did read back in the day that Merlancia's failure to pay for it's advertising went a long way toward the collapse of the AmigaActive magazine. Anyone got a link to that?

Yeah, strangely he was one of the people blessed by AInc/Eyetech(/Hyperion?) to be allowed to know what the partial fix (other than put a PCI USB controller in) for the USB problems on the Teron boards was and I think at a couple of shows actually did the fixes.  Then people started sending in boards, and said boards started disappearing down the memory hole.  I think a couple people wound up being in the same situation that PPC card owners wound up with DCE's vanishing.

Fake Doctor Ryan Czerwinski scammed Dave Haynie and AmigaActive magazine out of $$$.  The comments about him liking to be peed on and get punched in the ballsack relates to some singles profile of his out there.

Wow. First video I have ever seem of him.  I know he was a con-artist, but it looks like that video is from 2002 and has some really grounded ideas.

Should I be scared that what he says from 3:30 to 8:00 is dead on about the state of the Amiga scene, Amiga Inc at the time, and other ideas?

He has ideas such as:

Amiga needs an Office Suite.
Amiga Inc. is dillusional and will only work with companies making 50+ millions of dollars and are missing out on making money right now(time of the interview).
Amiga needs more hardware.  

He seems petty grounded and I think his arguments make a lot of sense and are still relevant today.


It's not hard to see now how even someone like Dave Haynie got scammed by this guy.

Wow I can't believe this lol I got bored and googled Ryan because I went to the same high school as him for a year. Not surprised he's in trouble for being full of ****. He was fat, arrogant, unathletic and a know it all who nobody liked. He wore a suit and tie every day and the same stained white shirt. He also carried like 4 or 5 lunchboxes with him. If this had been public school I'm sure worse would've happened to him. We had a pool party once and seeing him without a shirt on is a mental image that's not easily forgotten. It was grotesque. He made up some bull**** about being royalty or nobility or something and a few gullible kids believed him but mostly everyone disliked him, even teachers thought he was an annoying wise ass. I thankfully transferred schools, and have no idea what became of him until now. Like I said I'm not surprised to hear any of this stuff happening to him.

I think my fondest memory was when he bit or attempted to bite a teacher who took his cell phone away from him. I do also remember he squealed like a girl too (with apologies to girls).

He was/is a bright guy to some extent but he was just a wise ass who smarted off to people a lot. I created the account because it was a "holy ****" kind of thing to discover he's become a swindler. I actually have the yearbook from that year (I was a freshman) and he looks nothing like he does now. He looks like he's lost around 100 lbs and grown a beard.  Honestly he was a fat kid back then. Except not nerdy because he wasn't as smart as he liked to portray himself as. I talk to a few people from back then, theyll get a good laugh at this. I remember one time he was trying to explain to the teacher why she was wrong over an economics project we were doing and when she failed him on it he threw a fit and his mom or whoever she was came down and gave the principal hell about it.

I'll have to scan the yearbook photo of him at some point.
