Amiga 1000 Phoenix
« on: July 10, 2010, 11:14:13 AM »
Hi All,

It's been many years since I've owned an Amiga and figured I'd get one again to have some fun with it.

I found this selling at the moment on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Amiga-A1000-Phoenix-Very-Rare-Kickstart-3-1-1-3-/320558905561?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Computers_Vintage&hash=item4aa2ccb8d9

Can scsi drives compatible with Amigas still be found?
Im not sure if they still make 50pin drives or if adapters are needed etc.

Im bidding on this already.
Replacing the floppy drive will be a breeze.

Julian

Enough on Ebay, couple a days ago I found a seller who has a few 18.2 GB Seagate drives.
Another have a few 9 GB drives.
So if you want a small one, there are tons of these drives from 250MB up to 4GB.
After that you need to search quite good.
Wishlist: A3500, A2500UX
