You have probably right in this. So when all is said and done, is not any of these MorphOS or AmigaOS4 and AmigaNG computers worth a dime.
Windows has all the imaging SW on much better hardware, so with WinUAE is MorphOS and AmigaOS4 with E-UAE completely unnecessary if I understand it right.

Next generation open source Amiga-like OS with full MP/SMP, multiuser, 2D/3D accelerated drivers for nVidia or ATI, multiuser support, and with OEM contracts to support the Devs.

Having a chipset (OCS,AA or Natami) around in a nextgen-Amiga is pointless as pretty much all SW needing it runs better on a full UAE-setup, RTG-SW runs much faster on Radeons and even if you could put a chipset in there

This may be a little OT, but it's what I'd like to have...

A 24bit paint program on Windows/Amiga/whatever that use bitmapped/bitplaned technique for color pallet.

Don't know if that is right, but take DPaint for example in OCS/AGA.  A 32 color pallet.  Each color has it's own place.

-I may have 3 of the exact same RED, but they are all an individual color.
-If I do color Cycling they change in a different order.
-I can make a "Matte" and specifically select the color position, not just the color.

Are there any 24bit paint programs that work like that?

Back in my day, we didn\'t have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we\'d just have to shove them together.

@dammy
Yes agreed, and a sort of wrapper so you can use windows apps like Maya, Cubase, Firefox, and everything else. And a  Natami expansion cards of course. Windows  spoiled me under the Amiga Civil War.

AmigaOneX1000 with Natami expandability. AmigaOS4 with MorphOS MUI and DOpus Magellan menus and much more expandability.
