A3000 Parallel Port Troubles... Arghhh!
« on: June 12, 2010, 01:18:30 AM »
Just finished restoring my A3000 and all seems good.  Went to install my A64 dongle so that I could finally backup some old C64 disks and the 1571 drive isn't recognizeds.

Get out my Amiga Analyzer box and it shows both 12v and 5v at the parallel port which is good I guess but the test says the busy interrupt on pin 11 is bad.

Any ideas....I don't want to tear this thing apart AGAIN! :)

Hmmmm...  IIRC there is a quirk on Amigas where this line is shared with something else... cant really remember though.  Or it could be a blown CIA...

Good luck!!
