jaz disc protection

is there any way to unprotect a jaz disc that has been protected on the pc
i got the drive for my scsi box it shows but to format its all shaded out i cant unprotect ..its a pc setup disc..
do i now need to put the drive on my pc to unprotect ..then take out again put back in amiga ?? to format an use ..must be a easier way..

Isn't it just a protect tab.?  
Maybe not.
Its been over a decade since I used my Jazz.

have you tried http://aminet.net/util/cli/JazTools.lha

i have never used a jaz in an amiga..  So its a long shot.
