yay hard drive :)

Got my CF kit from amigakit and got it set up.

After initially not pushing the IDE adapter in properly, so it came loose, its now up and running.

Had a weird error with IDEFIX, but removing it from the startup sequence made everything work nice and smooth. As far as I can tell, its only really a big deal for drives over 4 gigs anyways, correct?

Im a little bit in awe at the idea of a silent amiga :)

Got K240, Battle Isle 93, Eye of the beholder and Scorched Tanks installed so far.

It seems the hard drive eats up a good chunk of RAM. Yikes. Can't wait to get my accelerator

Aren't the CF cards grand?! :)
Earth has a lot of things other folks might want... like the whole planet. And maybe these folks would like a few changes made, like more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and room for their way of life. - William S. Burroughs

Its a 1200. So far its pretty stock, 3.0 ROM's (though I installed 3.1 workbench) and not much else.

Got an accelerator card coming in the mail. Pretty humble one, but it'll still be nice (030/25 with 8 megs of RAM)
