Stupid question:
Do you mean Aos4?
There seems to be an "old" direct connect program on aminet named dcdd.

Well i dont have Os4 so for now i would be happy with a DC client compiled for 68k.
And the one you found at aminet is't exactly what i was looking for.
Direct Connect is a P2P client that allows you to share files over the internet without restrictions or limits

I started working on one, but I can't be bothered to finish it, and nobody seems to want to take over development, so don't expect it to be released at any point this century.

It was written specifically for the Amiga rather than ported. With whats done so far, you can connect to servers, and talk to people, but you can't get their files (they can get yours though :).

Its really not likely to happen, i'm afraid, so if you want it you'll have to find someone proficient in Amiga E. Either that or send me lots of money so I can afford an AmigaONE sooner :-)

Hmmm... Chaozer is also working on a DC version
written from scratch for Amiga.
I talked to him yesterday, He has just FINISHED the PROTOCOL.
And you have the GUI, seems like if you to did
a co-op maybe we would get a NICE x-mas gift from
you guys!!!
Check out chaozers homepage and write him a mail.
And you others, nag him and make him finish the port,
he is a bit lazy, but with positive mails, we might get him
to do it! =)

Release it as open source, maybe someone will continue some day. DC would be cool to have on aos4.0
