FIRST a big hug and thanks to EVERYBODY out there for not flaming me too bad with all of my #### questions

WOW!
Here's another one!!!
Was Final Writer '97 the last version Softwood relaesed before disapearing?

Can I use any of the 4 Soft Faces fonts with Amiga Writer. They print great to my HP LJ4 with FW, but I'm REAL tempten to go Amiga writer....

ALSO- Why won't my signature attach to my posts?

I'm pretty sure Final Writer 97 was the last version.

I strongly advise against Amiga Writer, though. As it stands, I find WordWorth and Final Writer are quite a bit better. I'm going to say that SoftFaces won't work with Amiga Writer, but I don't know for certain.

5. Only if you crush your extra, old, broken mil-spec chips into a fine powder and coat the inside of the case with it. :-D

I have no idea why your signature won't attach, mine does. What browser you using and what machine?

I'm on a Mac and the stupid red "more..." button (next to smilies) doesn't work for me. The one on Amiga World does though, strangely enough. :-?

Actually right now I also am on a Mac
it's a G5 running Safari under OS X 10.3

But it did the same thing on my emac under 10.2.8

Holy crap, I can post in Safari! This is new, well to me, had loads of trouble posting with it before. Wow. I remember I gave up because the cursor wouldn't appear in this box. :-D

Yes, Final Writer 97 was the last version that Softwood released on the market.  Their website continued on for about a year after they quit developing and then it folded as well.  Most of the FW material is available on Aminet (patch files, etc) and the program turns up on Ebay from time to time.  As for the softfaces, no, they will not (read should not) be compatible with AmigaWriter.
