Earth has a lot of things other folks might want... like the whole planet. And maybe these folks would like a few changes made, like more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and room for their way of life. - William S. Burroughs

Make a backup of those 24.61 roms before you sell it. If you dont have the tools, ask an electronics shop near you. Someone can definately do it for a moderate fee.

And then share them :)

I don't know how and don't know of any stores near by that can do it... I also don't want to mess with it any more because it's up for sale and I don't want ANYTHING to heappen to it :)

It would be easy to copy the roms.  I can do it and I am in Tacoma.  A cheap chip puller from radio shack and the chip can come right off no problem.

I wonder what kind of EPROMs those are?  What size?  There is no WOM for the kickstart either.

I am tempted to buy it but I really don't need it since I have four A1000's already.

I'd normally be really excited about something like this, but I gotta admit - while it's really neat, not loving the Commodore injection mold. Looks too much like a C128 or something. Too much love for the Checkmark and Amiga badges I guess  :)
