DKB Cobra 28MHz expansion board for the A1200 for sale.
Includes 68030 and 68882 chips with 64 MB of RAM.
I have the original floppy and manual as well.

See http://www.solie.ca/forsale/Cobra/ for pictures.

Firmware is upgraded so it works fine with AmigaOS 3.1.

Asking $120 CAD + shipping.

This is the same accellerator I have in my A1200, but I only have 32MB RAM. I use mine to go online, surf the web (including Amiga.org), chat to friends, play online games as well as thousands of WHDLoad games and others installed on my hard drive.

It's a great all-rounder accelerator for anyone wanting to use their Amiga for more than just basic software and games.

And that's a really good price, especially since it comes with the FPU and RAM!

I do believe this can be upgraded to 40Mhz with 128Mb of RAM as well. If that's cheap to do, then I'd say it's very worth while.

I'd buy it but I also have the same.  With the Ferret and 64Mb as well.

Surely someone will lap it up.  Not the fastest 030 card in the world but very reliable and it makes the A1200 most usable indeed..

Does this card completely fit into the trapdoor area and is there any
PCMCIA conflict issues? Interested if it fits with no issues to the PCMCIA.
Do you accept Paypal..

Thanks,

This was my 1st accelerator and it was mostly great and reliable. BUUUUT, the SCSI interface on this thing was total crap. It used some cheap weird plastic bridge between the boards that never really worked, got dirty and just generally was a bad idea.

Everything else worked great.

@ Questor

fit - yes
conflicts - no, worked fine.

120.00 - great price.

Looks like I lost the card, the owner posted it on Amibay aswell as here. Didn't get any answers to my questions by the owner.
Thanks to , TheGoose, who did answer my questions. I now know that I will buy this card if another one becomes available and to
check both sites for dual postings...

Thanks to all for your help...

@Questor7
Sorry, just noticed your posting here...

Yes, the card fits and works fine with PCMCIA. I have another fellow who is interested. If that deal falls through I'll let you know.

Thanks for your interest!
