Well it had to be said with all the wishy washy rubbish the OS Sux/Microcock Winblows fanboys polluting threads lately here?

Perhaps we could move all the non Amiga fanboys off the site too Karlos? ;)

I'm sure there are sites out there that do only allow "amiga fanboys". This site isn't one of them :)

Most serious amiga users use other platforms too. The days of electronic willy waving and evangelising how much better the amiga was than it's rivals are long gone. Most of us are mature enough these days to recognise the strengths and weaknesses in any platform we've used.  Aside from a tiny handful who resolutely refuse to belive they aren't still living in late 1980's, that is.

You call us fanboys.

I call us intelligent.

You should try being that sometime.

also as far as lately is concerned, it beats the 40 page long technical spec copy paste posts someone else has been posting lately.

PS: Amiga does rule. :D
I am a negative, rude, prick.

Coming from a thread pisser/thread derailing idiot like you POSTING LIES ABOUT TECH SPECS TO DERAIL THREADS OF TOPIC AND START ARGUMENTS ON PURPOSE I think I know who is idiot posting on this site mate ;)

Not my fault if you get your tech specs WRONG or hope other people will not bother to check your factually incorrect trolling 'tech specs' trying to derail my thread. Like bullshit about Doom being around in 1990/91? Or the 7khz 5bit scratchy sample playback of the NEC TurboGrafix console being superior to an Amiga with 28khz 8bit minimum 4 channel sound system OR saying a CD soundtrack is better than any other audio chip? Like I said you either really are that mentally challenged and it is a disease for you or you're just trolling for attention.

You are either mentally deficient and it is a medical condition or a trolling twat. I suspect the latter due to your pathetic attempts at humour, just like your pathetic coding attempts on the Turbografix, with graphics that would embarrass a C64 and pathetic sound a VIC-20 programmer could improve on, let alone gameplay inferior to the actual Atari 8bit version of Berzerk decades ago LOL. Keep it going mate you just look more and more the trolling fool you are to everyone here.

Get an attitude adjustment and some facts before you talk to me fool.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

I strongly suggest you calm down and reel in the personal insults and flaming.

Like I said you either really are that mentally challenged and it is a disease for you or you're just trolling for attention.

First: It is spelled Turbo Grafx-16.  There is no i.  Who is the idiot now.  You misspelled it multiple times.  Good job.

Second, Never said Doom was around in 90/91.  Lrn2read.  Don't assume things just because it is convenient for your barely present arguments and your ongoing master thesis here at Amiga.org.

Third, a CD sound track can be composed with many sound chips... so yeah I would say it is better than any sound chip, lol.  I could do a hybrid Amiga + Turbo Grafx song.  You do know how CD audio works, yeah?  In fact, the soundtrack for my game you so ignorantly made fun of, used bass and leads from a SID.  GOOD JOB!  Way to be.

Fourth, you are the blind Amiga fanboy who says the Ghouls n Ghosts soundtrack on amiga is better than even the original arcade one, despite it lacking sound effects, and the main theme.   Solid.  Way to drop the ball on that one.

That is cute.  Did you even PLAY my game?  Were you one of the preorderers?  Or purchasers?  What about the 3 positive video reviews?  What about it being the first release for the console in 10 years?  Or the fact that it is the first homebrew to successfully handle chiptunes?   What about all the positive feedback on the music (a dual CD and chiptune soundtrack), or the general fondness people have for it's retro-style gameplay, and a few hidden gameplay modes.

Not to mention, professionally pressed onto real CD's.

I could keep going if you would like.

I think the only thing pathetic is you ragging on a homebrew developer who has demonstrated knowing their shit and is continuing to do so.  Where is your demonstration of knowing what is actually going on with any hardware?  All I see you doing is waving around tech specs that any dork with google can copy paste into here.

Unless you would call optimizing the dodgy C compiler for the platform, writing an MML compiler conforming to the CD-BIOS' standards, and developing a game solo in under a year pathetic.

among other things.

PS: Sue me if the graphics aren't top notch commercial quality.  I never said I was a graphic artist.   They got the job done and weren't hated on too much by anyone.
