I liked B5 very much when it was first shown in Germany. A view month ago I watched all my old recorded B5 tapes (a little more than 100 episodes) with my children. I liked the complex characters very much. The fact it was done with lightwave and the first films even on Amigas did increase motivation of course. The very last episodes are worse in my opinion, however.

Best regards

Unfortunately you haven't read between the lines.

After my first post, I was called a troll. Ironically, I responded to the accusation of being a troll (by repeating the original message) which actually appeared to some like i was an actual troll. Ironically.

Americans do have a reputation of not getting Irony. For instance, rain on your wedding day is not ironic - that's just bad luck.

There is the point that the song is not american , given that the writer/singer is canadian.

But that song does not contain one single piece of Irony.

You do know what Irony is , don't you Bladric.

That is because season 5 was not meant to be, as season 4 closed to an end, Season 5 was pretty much a fair bet that it would be canceled, so they filmed it so Season 4 to be the last.., Then Season 5 got the go ahead.

I do like a few episodes of Season 5, Brakiri day of the dead for one.

Lockley's sister, Londo and Adira, Leneer and Morden, garibaldi and dodger.

The Babylon Project?

If so, you're in for a treat. I loved it.

You might also want to check out the great set of B5 addons to Celestia.

I think you forgot Farscape

Agreed.  I'd rank Farscape above Firefly.  Farscape and B5 are both my favorite TV sci-fi's.  It's tough to say which I prefer as they have VERY different feels to them so it depends on my mood on any particular day.

From what I heard, only season 1 uses Amiga technolog for its special affects.  I'm curious myself as to how good these effects are.  I never watched a single episode.

I thought they were actually quite good, and I believe all the effects are done in Lightwave, as time progressed obviously they utilised Newtek's solution of slaving PCs into a render farm I believe, but don't quote me on that. Anyway Lightwave only exists because Netwek exists and that all started with the A1000 and Digiview so it's still Amiga :)

Also thinking about this I forgot to mention it's worth watching Crusade also, I quite liked that and was sad to see it killed off after just one season.
