Yet another Strange Obsession
« on: May 06, 2010, 02:24:48 PM »
Hello!  I figured I should throw something up since I have been lurking for a while.  I am considering a return to the best computer I ever used mainly out of curmudgeony spite.  In junior high and high school a friend had an amiga 500 that we used to play the tunk out of-Civilization, Shadow of the Beast, Populous.  His aunt and uncle owned a big Amiga store in Topeka KS, that I eventually bought my A1200 from.  I used the A1200 through my first years of college, whereupon it was eventually lost along with all my software- a casualty of a bitter divorce.  I am enjoying tinkering with E-UAE but miss the drive sounds especially as the lemmings levels load .

Anyways, cheers!

WinUAE has floppy drive sound emulation.  Although, I usually have it turned off myself.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
