I believe it's fully 24bit like the Indivision AGA judging by the comparisions I've made

If you used this on an LCD monitor, would NOT having a flicker fixer matter?

The couple of LCD TVs I've used only applied their internal flicker fixers to composite/s-video inputs, not the VGA side.  Interlaced modes have always seemed to fail on LCDs via the VGA port for me.
