Note on Softhut
« on: April 17, 2010, 01:02:03 AM »
Just wanted to give a big shout-out to Softhut, http://www.softhut.com .  Last weekend I ordered a GVP-M Typhoon A1200 68030 Accelerator for my stock A1200HD.  I paid with PayPal and yesterday it arrived.  Very well packaged and it arrived 1 day earlier that UPS said it would.  Put it in my A1200, kind of a tight fit, and then fired it up.  Worked great!

Thanks to Softhut for their continued support for the Amiga and their excellent customer service!

Errr... I placed an order with them over the internet recently (more than a month ago) and used my credit card. Joe e-mailed next day and said he'd go to work on it. Card was never charged and the items never showed. I wrote again asking how it's coming along, but never got an answer. It was only for $80 and I don't really 'need' some of the items now, but still.

I'm having terrible luck buying/selling and trading these days. Must be a sign that I need to take a break

Sorry to hear save2600.  I don't know the person's name that responded but I emailed before I ordered and asked if the GVP card was in stock.  They responded the next day and I ordered it.  Then a day later got the UPS tracking number and TaDa!  I'm very pleased.

I guess try again and I hope it goes well for you!
