You first need an IDE controller. The A2000 does not have any hard drive controller by default.

Then most controllers for big box Amigas have 40pin IDE conectors for 3.5" hard drives. So you might want an CF adapter with such a connector rather than the one from the link with a 44pin connector for 2.5" hard drives.

And finally you might want to get an adapter with a slot bracket and a male connector so that you can move the adapter to the back of the case and connect it to the controller with a cable. Then you are able to exchange the CF card without opening the case.

All kinds of adapters are available from electronics shop. You don't need to buy one from a special Amiga dealer.

Here's one that I saw recently but it doesn't use the normal PC/Amiga 2000 hard disk power connector and probably needs some sort of mounting kit:

But it's SD which is cheaper than CF.

All CF-Adapters I've come across sofar use the smaller floppy-power connector, just like the one you linked too.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
