Speakers for amiga?

Other than a hi-fi, what do people recommend for speakers ?

I have a 1084S monitor, but it doesnt seem to provide any sound, so I imagine the speakers are bunk.

Are you sure it's the 1084S and not your Miggy?

Have you checked?

Find a PC shop and get some no frills brand speakers for around $30, the more watts the better. Don't bother with the overpriced (and tinny sounding) Logitech or Creative speakers.
Also pick up the RCA Stereo to 3.5mm Stereo cable.
Go Go Gadget Signature!

Good point but I don't have any easy way of checking at the moment unfortunately given the lack of speakers.

I still think a plain stereo amplifier + speakers would be the best option. I have yet to see any pc speakers that are worth the price and sounds as good as even a cheapish stereo system.

Do you have a modulator you can hook up to your TV?

What Miggy you got?

If you weren't so far away I could have lent you a modulator to test it out.

I guess any cheap speakers would serve for testing process.
