Here's a list of ROM numbers and what they are for from my personal little reference list. Sorry that it's not formatted all nice-like, I can't figure out how to get tables to work on this forum. Maybe this will be handy to somebody.

I do not know for certain the part numbers for post-Commodore chip manufacture. (ie: Chip numbers from Amiga Inc) but this is what is commonly on the sticker over the rom itself. I think the K0#### part is actually the "serial number" of that ROM pair/set.
Kickstart 3.1 (40.68) U175 (K02399) ROM0 Amiga 4000
Kickstart 3.1 (40.68) U176 (K02399) ROM1 Amiga 4000
* 3.1 ROMS by ESCOM Are usually labeled with a silver sticker (some have a white sticker).
There is no real standard part number on the ROM(s) anywhere. The sticker describes which Amiga it's for (ie Amiga 500 / Amiga 2000, or, Amiga 600) and the kickstart version (40.63). Some of the ROMS from ESCom were simply CBM left overs and do have the original part stamped on them, in those cases they don't have an ESCOM sticker, and some are labeled with (A5947 | M32025).
