A600 pcmcia sram?

Hello, I write because I have put a bid on a Centennial SRAM Recharge 2MB PC Card (PCMCIA)
the seller say he has used it on a A1200 then I guessed it should work on a A600 also, but I read somewhere someone saying Centennial cards do not work on a Amiga?

But if it works on a A1200 should it not work on the A600 also?

Im the leading bidder at 70$ so I hope it works else I do not know what to do with the card :/

Don't be a fool.  Retract your bid now and buy one for $39!  See Cammys post.  I'm afraid you will end up paying $70 for it.  It always happens that way on bidding.  Thats why I snipe!

Im mostly on this forum on my Nokia N97 at work so the page is not presented the same way as on my linux  machine at home. So sorry if anyone took this the wrong way, dident mean to doublepost.

Edit: also here I did post a picture of the card, also my max bid is what im prepared to pay, so if it gets bumped up im fine with that I got quite excited when I saw it because I dident know anyplace else to get one that works on the amiga.

also I wanted to find a 4MB card but couldent find any So now I am goign to buy the a603 from amigakit also

Well as it worked on the a1200 I thought it would work on the 600 before I saw the old thread about it.
also I realy wanted it now so I got excited when I saw one, so i put a steep bid on it to be sure I get it I love Amiga so its worth the money for me

And now im back, I won the card and it works great on my Amiga 600

Ive tried alot alot of WHDLoad games now and I have not found many that do not work

As my A603 has not arrived yet I only have 1MB chip 2MB Fast but still most games run

I have installed Classic WB GAAE on the amiga and it works great!

Currently im copying 365 WHDL games to a 2GB partition trough winUAE (since my A600 has a 4GB CF card as harddrive it's easy as pie to just put the CF card into a windows machine and load it in winUAE to do such tasks )

I have taken a few pictures to show how it looks

Here I am copying alot of games tot he harddrive trough winUAE with my amiga CF card as mounted harddrive.


Here is how GAAE looked when done installing (still waiting for my scart to VGA converter so still using a CRT TV).

Glad it's working for you. There's really no need for a Kickstart switcher in an A600, though. Just slap 3.1 in there and you're all set.

Thanks!, I get a few errors on games with more then 5 disks but mostly they work after a few attempts and when I try to boot them outside WB

Tho I can not get Monkey Island 2 to run
