Out of curiosity: What is the real difference between a Mediator SX and a Mediator TX?

Besides marketing propaganda, they seem to be much the same. Perhaps someone over here can enlighten me.

Mmm...AFAIK, TX was an "upgraded" SX.

I guess only a few bugs corrected, maybe some upgraded chips...and thats it??

That is basically what Elbox said, plus that the TX should be faster with gfx cards.
The thing is that Elbox is not really a reliable company in ethics terms, so their claims are not actually valuable in the technical field.
Do you remember when they told users they should upgrade from the Spider USB PCI card to the Spider II to obtain more speed? The end result, was a system working at the exact same speed as before and this was verified by numerous comunity unbias benchmarks. Probably was that they run out of their first batch of Nec USB cards and had to buy another one which was slightly different in design but performed just the same.

So really, the question still remains to be answered.

Newer TX unit have the 3.3V rail attached to it, letting 3.3V video cards work without PCI adapdors or soldering to the Mediator board, plus a bit newer Mach chips.
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

SX units also have the 3.3v rail. And yes, mach chips changed, but what does that change imply?
