It's the 1.5GHz variant with double the VRAM. "Rare" might be too strong, but it's definitely less common. ~$300 for the Mac, ~$200 for MorphOS, plus a "free" Mighty Mouse. I think it's a fair price.

The most "silent upgrade" 1.5 models come with 64mb VRAM where as the 1.42 only provides 32.

Heck, I paid $250 just for MOS with the USD being worth less at the time I assume.

It's true - the 1.5 GHz ones with 64 megs of VRAM are less common (or at least less commonly sold). I have an even rarer one - it's a 1.5 GHz mini running at 1.66 GHz. But I plan to keep it. It was the first computer I bought new since I got my Sinclair QL when I was 13...

I'm sitting on two Mac Mini's (1.5 & 1.25) that I acquired for my kids to use way back when.  The kids have grown and moved on to laptops for school.  I've watched the eBay market on the Mini's and they seemed to move pretty well.  I think the recovery cost of MorphOS is giving your system a bit of a price shock to buyers.  I've seen folks here basically give the hardware away to get the cost of the MorphOS registration fee back, not that I'm suggesting you do that but that is what your faced with on any price reduction you apply.

Hey pale, there was a Mini configured very much like yours that just sold on eBay for $450 using the buy it now option.  So, your asking price is certainly in the park for those interested in an alternative OS.
