BTW, these A4000T they sell have a 6 month warranty, so, even though old new stock, we have protection with a decent warranty.  

I hope to have a running A4000T soon.  I am excited to start using it.  Even brand new systems have a DOA once in a while and shit happens.  These have been sitting for a very long time I am sure but Joe at Soft Hut is a decent guy and a good seller it appears and should be taking care of the issue as we speak.

So, am I still excited.  You bet I am.  :)

I am sure it will.  Stuff happens.  Just seems to happen to me lately. .  A couple other people I have met on these various Amiga forums also purchased the same systems and they did not have issues so I am sure it is just one of those things.  Bad things come in 3s so this was my 3rd so only good JuJu from now on. hehehehe

are all amigas that are sold at amigakit. come with the magic pack box and packaging??

Yes they all come with Magic pack cardboard box and packaging- the actual Magic Pack Software can be configured as an option for the package.  Here are some pictures of our computers we sell:

Oh... an all Amigas we sell are tested throughly with a Pre-Delivery Inspection as standard by our Technician.

Thats great!!! oh i did hear once there was a issue with the A1200 magic pack a PC high-density drive mechanism was used and there was a few issues with that.. Has that problem been resolved?

I personaly ordered one of these from Amigakit last year, along with OS 3.9 ,80 gig drive, and an indivision AGA installed. I will say, it was great. They wrapped and packaged it great for shipping and the box was in great shape shipped over here to canada. Some pictures below are of the unpacking:

Amigakit has the best service and you won't be disappointed at all in the purchase.

Same here.  I ordered my 1200 from AmigaKit with IndivisionAGA, Subway-USB and a 4gb CF IDE drive preinstalled with OS3.9.  Everything was perfectly installed and shipped to me in the USA.  Outstanding service.  Highly recommended!  It was a great way to get back into the Amiga after 20 years.  Just hooked it up and it booted - ready to go!

Was it a PAL A1200? What about the power supply? Was it for North America?  And the keyboard...USA layout?

Yes PAL.  I used my old A500 PSU and the keyboard was not US but you can get those as well.

I ordered the North American Version (US keyboard- there is an option on the order page), but it really has no difference in OS.3.1 and up, just hold both mouse buttons down at boot, and boot into the mode you want (PAL or NTSC). I have a "UK" version of the A600 here and other than the boot, there is no difference in my opinion, just use a power supply that is for your country. I have a North American Power supply on my A600 and it has no issues at all.

Just a quick plug - Amigakit is one of the best Amiga dealers I have dealt with. They are great!
I have dealt with Software Hut for eons, and will not say anything bad about them either. But today if I were buying a new Amiga - I would go to Amigakit.

Great video. You remaind surprisingly calm, I think I would have been in tears with joy.


I wonder how many magic packs AmigaKit have in stock and if any of them have suffered from leaky caps?
