A good way of transferring data from PC to Amiga 1200 or 600 is EasyADF PCMCIA CF Transfer Kit (exclusive to http://www.amigakit.com )

We are regularly updating the software to make it the best transfer software for the Amiga.  The latest new feature of EasyADF is Backup Hard Disk to Compact Flash with a few simple clicks of the mouse.

We also produce our EasyNet networking software for use with PCMCIA network cards.

That seems like a strange way to do it and I'm surprised it looks so good being converted twice like that. Looks really good in the pictures though, very clear.

I think this will work for my needs.

Lots of great info here thanks to everyone for their help, I think I can get the proper parts and upgrades now.

...there's a wireless card and a PCMCIA<>CF adapter solution right there. I'd go for the latter and skip the wireless deal personally. Second link shows an internal "hard drive" solution that plugs into your 2.5" IDE port.

I AM GOING TO MOVE THIS INTO IT'S OWN THREAD SO PLEASE DON'T POST HERE FOR THE CARDS!

I have 18 - 64MB Iomega CompactFlash cards.

I will give these cards away to the first comers - FOR THE COST OF SHIPPING ONLY. I'd like to do them in pairs in case any don't still work. (No way to test. It will take me a few days to find small shipping containers.)

So the first 9 people to post interest to this thread and then subsequently pay the postage costs will receive them. Anyone interested?

Gulliver, thanks for the info on the scandoubling. I have ordered both items you showed, so I guess its rgb to svideo, svideo to vga, hopefully it will look as good as it does in those pics for me!

Also thanks to gulliver, I have ordered the pcmcia network card he showed, thanks gulliver!

Next up, I went to a friends house today to trade an older pc I have for a beautiful WHITE colored 17 inch lcd, its beautiful and will be perfect for this project. So it may take 3 weeks for these parts to arrive from australia and hong kong, but my video problems will be solved.... I'm so happy about that!

My ancient 1084 will be packed away or used with my next project, upgrading a stock amiga 500 I have.

Nlandas, I am going to get a this cf device that amigakit sells,So those cards would come in handy, I have sent you a pm will glady pay for postage. Those cards would be great for me for transferring files...

Next up, I am ordering the pcmcia easy adf thing, amiga 1200 3.1 roms, and a 40 gig 2.5 inch hard drive pre-installed with os3.9 from amigakit.
Just waiting to hear back that they have a 40 gig in stock, otherwise, I may end up with a 100 gig drive, which is probably overkill... I have to say amigakit has been great answering questions and providing great service, I highly reccomend them and will use them for future needs.

My sincere thanks for everyone's help, looks like I found all the parts I need for now.
Now comes the terrible wait to play with my new toys... :(
