I actually love the intro from Shadow of the Beast, and im corny enough to love alot of cracktro tunes, allways been since I where in the scene :) Other then that I love the intro for Cannon Fodder, Turican, all tracks in all Lotus Tubo challange games, I also like the tunes from all Digital Illusions (Named DiCE nowdays) pinball games :)

The intro music on this game was good, although it was only the first 16 seconds as the boss. So after this proteracker ruled.

Amiga never had 24bit sound, but what people did with its 8bit sound is amazing and should never be forgotten.

Well, the Repulse audio card for the Amiga gave it 24-bit audio.  But not much took advantage of this (SoundFX maybe).  OctaMED SS could render to 16-bit wav files.  But as you probably meant, most Amiga music was made with the 8-bit Paula audio.

Anyway, 16-bit and 24 bit audio is a bit over-rated - especially for electronic / chip type music.  It's not how many bits you have, it's how well the music is written.  So I agree with you, there was some great 8-bit Amiga music.  I was never really into MODs, but some of the ones that stick out are the music from Alternate Reality, The Pawn and Hybris.
Music I've made using Amigas and other retro-instruments: http://theovoids.bandcamp.com

Nice page BTW. I used it plenty of times in the past :) (As well as your excellent deli genie!)

We do a similar thing with modland now http://www.modland.com where you can download as ogg/mp3. As well as uade, we use some other backends to support various platforms including megadrive/snes and others (There is also an interface to stream as ogg/mp3 for XBMC http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-addons/downloads/detail?name=Modland_0.6.zip&can=2&q=)

here's a crack intro tune i like from Felix Schmidt

I read recently that Calvin Harris' debut album was written mostly using Octamed on his A1200.  Quite interesting!

Also found out that the music video to Junior Senior's hit Move Your Feet several years ago was entirely made using Deluxe Animation!

xenon2-theme is hardly amigamade, rather samples played badly and sequenced badly by talentless nobs on amiga  :)
