How about some specific examples of why you feel this way?  We can't agree or disagree with you unless we have some examples ...

Excuse me for having an opinion. I was polite and didn't swear or do any name-calling and still I'm told to go elsewhere because my opinion is different from somebody elses.

Danny,
"Nazi-like" usually is not a polite term.
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

I guess it can be looked at differently by different people.  If you think it means throwing people into ovens and burning them, then no that is not what I meant.  If you think it could mean marching into town, doing whatever you felt like with no one to answer to and for whatever reasons you saw fit right or wrong, and then marching back out of town with an attitude of "I can do it so I did", then I think we're getting a little closer.

Perhaps "totalitarian" might have been less likely to incite..

....Nah, doubt that; but it's got more syllables! :-)

"Nazi like" ? You are joking right?
"boohoo I can't shit in somebody's backyard" would be more apt.

Lemon amiga is pretty fun for amiga games talk. This site seems to be the nicest for more hardware oriented talk.

Considering not only have I met holocaust survivors, but one of my friend's parents still have the concentration camp tattoos, I don't see the comparison as polite. Yet your post did not get moderated, so I really don't see validity to your observation.

And you have still not provided any examples of this "nazi-like" moderation so any sympathy that you may have garnered at all is quickly dissipating...

Once again...   Examples?

Red, I thought I explained what my definition of the term was and the context I used it in.  Why would you keep insisting that your definition must be mine?
OutLawAl, I don't remember asking for any sympathy?  After you've been around for awhile and have read enough threads you either will or you won't see what I'm talking about.

Maybe @dannyp1 has a valid point that he cannot express without enough freedom, because when he tries to do that, a couple of users will start to attck him instead of being open minded, tolerant and see it as positivie critizism.

By the way, nowadays i tend to visit EAB more frequently than Amiga.org. It is a personal opinion, that somehow Amiga.org isnt as Amiga friendly, and open minded as it used to be, and has diverted from the comunity it served quite a bit.

It appears you missed my point completely. Do you really think I am implying you meant the literal sense  I have no issues with you Danny, I think you should know that.

If some you guys want no moderation whatsoever, spend some time on Moobunny. Just make sure your skin is very thick before posting.

Actually I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but after that response it is quite clear that you have no examples and now just look like you are whining to get attention...   (As for reading threads, and being around "for awhile", I have been here since 8/14/2008... So just exactly how long do I need to be here to make this determination?)

Considering how long I have been here and the threads I have read I don't see what you are talking about and was being kind enough to you to ask for examples.  Kindness did not work so I will resort to the plain truth..

I think you are whining...
 and full of it..

Obviously you haven't seen what I'm talking about.  Didn't I already say that was a possibility?  So your response is to say I'm whining and full of something.  Your Mother it seems raised a very polite person.  Did I attack you or Red?  I don't recall that.  I was polite and curtious.  Just like I would be if we were face to face.  It's funny how brave people become online isn't it?

It's actually threads like this that help suck the mojo out of this forum.

I frequent all those other forums too.  It's all good.  Just be happy and thankful that there are still multiple places that you can go and communicate with other amiga users.
