If you're "Mr. Google" than just google up the V4 to download yourself! Nobody that I read was being "two Faced". They were all trying to help you. I just can't figure out why you want an upgrade that is not "worth the money", has a "lot of bug", and that "is not the only problem". In fact one of the replys told you how to do the upgrade if you were too cheap to purchase the CD.

well well Mr justice! there is not alternative way isn't?
i dont see any other software besides this crapy software!
or maybe there is. anyway most of my software are ORIGINAL!
including wb3.0  3.1 3.5&3.9,scala,and many more.
but you cant buy all the original software for the amiga! and you know that is true. so you know that i'am right about this one.
so that why i say "Hypocrites" i dont belive you that all of your software or orignial, and me myself dont like  piracy! but again you CANT buy all...
maybe if i win the lottery some day,i will buy all the original software for amiga! :rtfm:

@ jackiabu: is that supposed to be an argument or what?

I myself am rather poor and admit that I pirate some software, but I do so quietly and am ashamed of doing so. You know there are people who if they don't have money they simply don't buy stuff. You, OTOH, admit to be a pirate, but despite this you are arrogant and accuse others of doing the same thing. Way to go...

this is not argument. but is just that i'am allergic to Hypocrites!
and i say: most of the peolpe here are good guys and help me.
i dont blame the other. any one can do and say what he want,
and i say my mind. anyway as long there is a "good" guys like you that dont burn cd software this is good and i sleep well! and iam not encouraged piracy! as i say before you just CANT buy all.
or maybe its just me in the all world:lol:

'Nuff said.

I probably have an original CGX V4 CD somewhere if you're interested in buying it :D.

I agree with you though (others will not) that the Cybergrafx software is buggy as hell. I've never liked using it on my various Amiga's at all and always ended up going back to the P96 drivers. They say your mileage may vary, but I have yet to experience a successful and rewarding Cybergrafx installation.

I experienced a "a successful and rewarding Cybergrafx installation" for many, many years.  BUT heres' the rule:  if you have phase 5 hardware then use CGX, otherwise use P96.  I did try P96 on both a CV64 and a CV64-3D.  P96 felt much slower than CGX, the pointer did not  move smoothly, dragging icons appeared to flicker, CGX had by far the more convincing Workbench emulation for look and feel.  The thing is friends who used P96 didn't even notice those things till we had the screens side by side, one running P96 mine running CGX, but it did annoy them afterwards.

well some of the people here act like Hypocrites!!!  i'am sorry to say that
but, i dont think at all that the upgarde to v4 is worth the money!
there is a lot of bug, even in v4! and this is not the only problem.of this upgarde.
and lot of the guys here dont buy nothing for the amiga (besides the amiga itself).
so please dont be two faced! i just ask help to dowanload the upgarde v4, NOT to buy it! if i want to buy it i google my self and find where to buy it.

First and last warning: Don't use the forum to ask for warez.

FWIW, I bought CGX4 for my machine, it works fine.

I have used recent versions of P96 with my CV64 and CV64-3D. The CV64-3D has worked well for quite some time. The performance is much better with P96 in ZorroII mode but comparable with CGFX 4 in ZorroIII mode. P96 performed better on some tests and CGFX on others. The P96 versions got a lot faster with later versions. The early P96 CV64 drivers had problems but so did CGFX 3, but not the CV64 CGFX driver. Anymore, you can use P96 with both CV boards with minimal problems in most cases. There is updated P96 software on the EAB site that was never officially released and fixes some bugs. It's probably worth a try before tracking down a copy of CGFX 4 and forking over some money. It's definately better than CGFX 3.

You just lost what little respect I had for you.

While it's true that not all Amiga software can still be purchased, CyberGraphX can, as another member pointed out to you. You're using pirated software because you don't want to pay for it, not because it's commercially unavailable.

The old m68k version does not, I would imagine the version included in OS4 does.

Correct. I think that an unreleased p96 driver existed for a while in the early OS4 beta days, but it was soon replaced with a ppc version.

The bvision works fine under CGX4. CGX3, on the other hand, less than stellar.

I did purchase a copy of CGX4.  I still have it, but sadly my A4000 doesn't boot anymore.  I used p96 v2.1(?) but CGX4 was the more convincing of a real amiga due to its smoother way it moves the mouse pointer, and the way icon dragging did not flicker.  Also menus dropped down faster.  Painting with TV paint and Photogenics seemed smoother and faster.  The other important thing for me was that i could overclock my CV64, and it had very good support for the Roxxler chip, which let me move and rotate in real time wireframes views of 3d models in Cinema 4d very quickly and smoothly.  I did try p96 about 12 months ago but went back to CGX4 because it "felt" more authentically Amiga.

I bought CyberGraphX V4, and it was well worth the money.

BTW while CGX 68k might be dead, CGX is well and alive in MorphOS. It still beats the s**t out of Picasso96, too.

@jackiabu

CyberGraphX V4 is still easily available, so your comments are just bs justification for your piracy. It's your choice but keep it out of amiga.org thank you.

Uh what? MorphOS includes CyberGraphX as integrated component. You don't need CyberGraphX V4.

sorry let me make it clear. im taking about **overclocking** GFX cards under CyberGraphX and P96

overclocking was added to CyberGraphX in one of it's update(s),i don't know if it's still in there in MORPH OS but iv never heard of anyone overclocking the Bvision card under MORPH OS so im guessing it's not in there (please correct me here if im wrong).

here on my system under OS3.9 iv found the problem so im able to overclock the Bvision card to the full 100Mhz (new world record for Bvision),here again i never heard of anyone overclocking GFX card  (Bvision) over 92Mhz under OS3.9.
