 Is that someone making a point regarding the high price of old Amiga hardware, or just someone who's a tad stupid?

:-)

I think that this seller is one of those optimistic ones that don't settle for the usual suckers, but tend to look for more R@RE, ultra suckers.

Seen that a couple of days ago, and had a normal price... Probably changed it just for a joke? :-?

Heh!  You'd have to give me twice that to sell my A1000 and 1080 monitor, 'cause I got TWO megs of RAM!

PS - How much do you think a non-working A3000 Tower is worth?  I have no idea what's wrong with it, yet.

It's probably Amiga Inc. trying to bring in that much needed cash.

Nah, that'd be too obvious. It's probably Genesi trying to make me THINK it's Amiga Inc trying to bring in that much needed cash.

Yeah.

Can't fool me.
I sold my Amiga for a small fortune, but a part of my soul went with it.

Bit too yellow for me, I'd never get it clean, however I'd pay a bit for a fully working A1000 in good condition, only cause I've always wanted one.

I'm curious what you guys think of the 351st production Amiga ever made. I have an Amiga 1000, serial number 2000351, with the 512k chip ram modification on the motherboard, original keyboard as well (although it's missing 2 keys but the plungers both work fine, nothing is broken - I guess the keys just fell off at some point in storage/transit). It's in really nice condition otherwise, boots fine, good color, no big scratches etc.

Is that worth my time to list it on eBay or should I just "archive" it to the shelf of "I'll toss this out one day".  :-)
If I have military spec stuff listed on eBay, you can find it here  :-)

By all means list it, but don't expect the serial number to be a major selling point, especially in that condition.
