Noob needs Amiga A1200 Help

Hi there!

I am new to the Amiga community.

For my first Amiga I am looking at an A1200 from amigakit in the US and was wondering if anyone in Australia has purchased one before. Specificly I am looking at a rough price on the shipping.

Any advice/help is greatly apticiated.

Hi,

First off, welcome to A.org

Secondly, you should really order from the UK Amigakit as you'll get a PAL A1200 (UK & Australia) or you might end up with an American NTSC model (unless of courese you want an American one).

If you contact Amigakit directly through their website, they should be able to give you a more precise quote via email for shipping.

I live in Australia and have been eye balling a  new-old stock A1200 from AmigaKit.  

They are based in the UK I believe, so pick the UK site.    You can register an account there and fillout your details.  The 2nd page shows the shipping estimate which is about $86 AUD I believe.
