Blizzard 1230 memory

Can u use ECC EDO 72 pin memory in Blizzard 1230 IV cards ?
or is it going to be any problem !
A1200, Blizzard 030 IV 16 MB

Provided the height of the SIMM isn't an issue then there is no problem using EDO RAM in Blizzard Mk IV's

So do u mean that ECC edo ram is bigger then regular EDO ram :confused:

Hi.
I used EDO RAM in my Blizzard with no problems.

OK to make my self realy clear now there is two types of EDO ram

EDO ECC 72pin  (server memory)
EDO 72pin << wich i use now !

Question is IS there Possible to use the EDO ECC memory on my Blizzsard 1230 without any problem !

As long as it is 72 pin then no problem. It should only make a difference if the SIMM you are wanting to use is bigger physically (see pics).

[ATTACH]300[/ATTACH]   <-- probably won't fit unless forced into the slot

[ATTACH]301[/ATTACH]   <-- fits first time, every time
