I don't really know what the CDTV's are going for but i was thinking maybe 200 Euro + P&P for the lot.

Well bargains can be found. But usually by chance like at a charity shop or carboot sale, but if you are specificly looking for something like the cdtv which is quite rare you will not find it for those prices like 14 euro.

I am open to offers.

Which means nothing for another eight days... since you apparently do not like the price, do not buy it, or make a reasonable offer.  Otherwise, shut up.  I tire of public posts like yours.  If you really wanted to offer constructive criticism you would send him a PM with some alluring evidence, not try to publicly humiliate him.

Not my intention to humiliate.

I am just tired of people trying to score big bucks on age old hardware...

That aside...
I would be willing to offer 150EUR MAX including P&P.

The CDTV aint that rare...

Well if they sell for £100+ on eBay why not sell them for that much on here? Besides rare or not, it was a huge flop so it wasn't a big seller.
I forked out £40 for mine and that I feel is cheap. Rather then just having a go at people for not offering stupid bargains why not go to car boot sales and charity shops yourself rather then moaning about the prices on here?

Hi,

If you are interested in splitting, I'm interested in the keyboard...

Cheers,

I had a CDTV with the Keyboard, and Mouse when Commodore sold then i nthe USA for $299 shipped to your door via FedEx.

in 1992 this was an oddball. Even from Amiga perspective.

Niether a fully compatible A500 or A1200 but a single spped CD rom drive with no Digital Audio track in games, we had to wait for cd32 for that. Aside all those problems, it was sexy and you could do some cool stuf like connect it to an A2000 or A3000 with a Parnet cable.

A cd32 is a far better acquisition, a CDTV with all the cd32 features plus the CDTV features like standardized ports and expansion would have been ideal.

If you read my initial post i paid 14EUR for my CDTV, near mint condition. A great bargain, at a local flee marked.
only a button missing and minor scratches on top.
I only need keyboard, floppy and mouse, though breaking apart a complete system is just stupid.

However. Not moaning, but it is a "free" forum and one can have opinions.
And in my opinion 200EUR plus p&P is to expensive. Never implying for a bargain of any kind. JUST AN OPINION.:griping:

EDIT:
and IMHO 150 - 200 EUR INCLUDING shipping and packaging would be a decent price for a complete system. Assuming it is mint, including caddy and controller...

Hi Dougal - would you mind posting some pictures please?  From my perspective I don't think 200e is unreasonable and I also don't like to see folk trying to belittle what you are asking as it's really not all about what the technology is in comparison to todays technology or what it can or can't do because if it were your setup would be almost worthless but as it is I think your setup - as long as it's in as nice condition as you say it is (and I'm sure it is) - it's all about desirablility and therefore THAT is what should drive the price.  After all - that's what drives the traditional antique market.

Personally - I like buying the stuff I could never have afforded when the kit came out and from there Ive gone on to collect more obscure stuff - just to have it.

Even if I don't end up buying your kit I still think 200e is a pretty decent deal

I'm sorry but just because you bought one for 14 Euros does not mean that is what the market value is for one!  It is a rare Amiga and worth much more than that...
