WOW!  :-o  Never knew that there were still so much support for SWOS, how wrong i was! :-) I always thought Jonathon Pearce was a pretty good comentator, with his over the top squeaky voice and everything. :lol:

Yep, this happens on the Amiga version too, and IIRC is caused by updating the various team files but not POOLPLAYER.DAT.  Using one of the menu options in SWOSEd should fix it.

I am doing the 2010 update now "just for the English league" the premiership is done, but I have the other leagues to do, send me a quid and a disk and I'll post you a copy when it's finished, PM me and I'll send you my address, check out my SWOS Cab' below:
