*I* received a *FREE* copy of Aladdin4D from Pyromania and DiscreetFX! =D Now, while I strictly work in Maya for the most part, I noticed that they were offering the Aladdin package to previous owners of Amiga 3D programs. So, I asked what Aladdin could offer me that Maya couldn't and while they were completely honest with me and said it was an entry level application compared to Maya, the offered me a copy to play around with. How cool is that??? =D

Kudos, much appreciation and *MANY* thanks to Bill and all the guys (and gals) at DiscreetFX!!!!

Now, once I play around with the engine and get a feel for it, who wants some tutorials and on what topics? ;P Also, anyone in need of a 3D modeler and animator for the Amiga platform?

*dances a jig*

Well, before I went to work, I started reading the manual. You have tutorials, but they didn't have any images or anything to go with it. You mentioned that Aladdin has a great particle effects engine. I want to play with that, for sure, but do you have any primary focus you'd like for tutorials. Currently, I focus on modeling in sub-divisions (which is the *FIRST* thing I think you should implement in the next version of Aladdin, if it's not already in, as it's one of the best ways to model organic models), but I do model in polys, but that's mostly in ZBrush.

If you'd like, I'll shoot you my personal email and you can give me a list of what tutorials you'd like to focus on and I'll start playing with those aspects of Aladdin first, do some skeletons of tutorials and then prep to record them, via FRAPS and Premiere.

Thanks again. It was very kind of you to offer me your 3D suite. Feel free to use me for any sort of beta testing and what not. I'd love to help you make Aladdin as robust as possible.
