WTB: Rubber switches for Quickshot joysticks
« on: November 22, 2009, 08:56:09 PM »
I'm looking for replacements for the rubber switches in 4 of my Quickshot joysticks. The old ones are worn out, so the joystick can't be used before the switches are replaced. The rubber switch can be seen here.

Does anyone know where I can get these?

That looks like one of those carbon contact pads. Not exactly a replacement, but using a #2 pencil on that pad may revive it. A trick a college professor taught me 17yrs ago. Used it to fix many a remote control and telephone touch pad. Hope this info helps.

Thanks for the tip. I need replacements though, as we are talking about 16 switches in total.

@bugsthor

Please re-read the topic. I'm looking for spare parts, not complete joysticks.

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks.
