I am not surprised at all. Funding a bounty for OS 4 and above you would have to be insane. Sher madness! OS4.1 is doomed from the get go, because the hardware is so bloody expensive - remember only about 1% of all Amigains will ever look at 4.1 unless they port it to a cheaper platform.
I have Amiga stuff for sale at http://amigalounge.com. You can follow my builds there also.

Sad, but I think the bounty was just too big. I would have been better if it was broken down into parts. Like one for each variant with the over all bounty split between them.

One good thing is that the Amiga Community now has many bounties and bounty programs to promote them.

Out of interest, are there any plans to port Amiga OS 4.x to Mac PPC hardware now the legal stuff is settled?

Why shoud the fedens get that bounty when they
a) port FF (not Mozilla)
b) port it to only one of the 4 Amiga flavours
c) don't make the soure available

a) is of course a bit nitpicking, but b & c are not.

The "official" answer is no. But there was a "no" for the Pegasos version before, too.

Who was going to get it?  I have never hear of a Firefox project running on OS3.x, MorphOS, AROS?

Chicken out how?  Because of the money?  They ARE paying out the money back (paying back to the people who donated) How would it be different if they gave it to the winner instead of back to the donators?

If you are talking about the OS4 port, how would that make them scared.  If they had split in 1/4th that would be like $2500, but they are giving back like $5000 instead.

Back in my day, we didn\'t have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we\'d just have to shove them together.
