Power Computing with ppc 604e
« on: October 24, 2009, 09:43:05 PM »
I'll also be picking up a power computing mac clone this weekend.  It has MacOS 9.1 on it now, which I'll probably leave on it.  But I was wonder whether this machine would run amiga os 4?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: While the legal barrier to doing so has been removed, the odds of support for such a machine being added are close to nil.

That's very interesting, I wasn't even aware that Power Computing made Mac Clones!
I used to have several Power Computing addons in my A1200, including a PC1208 RAM expansion and a hand scanner.

I'm pretty sure it's a different Power Computing.
