Looks good, the thought of the startup drawer being replaced concerns me a bit. Just as long as I can still get to the files directly it'll be OK. I think we should all tread lightly when it comes to adding managers to the OS, Windoze has managers all over the damn place and the result is pure bloat with many users having no idea where the actual files are.
Overall this looks great, keep on it Hyperion & good luck.

Glad to hear things are progressing, especially after the legal ordeal is over. Does PowerPC do SMP? If not, I'm betting their Project is x86. A QuadCore with AmigaOS SMP would be nice and fast.

A Java implementation would open several doors. Hundreds of applications instantly.

Yes, PowerPC does SMP. There are a few multi-core PowerPC processors.

Power Mac g5 Quad would be an amazing amiga.

Maybe a little bit TOO MUCH POWER for current Amiga OS, but, still sexy.
