Various software trouble

I feel so trapped lol ok so can someone help me here?
Well with frogger ng my vids just skip alot but vids my friend sends off a digital camera get to the end of the vid and it just locks up :(
So anyone help me with that? my 2nd is moovid,well the sound skips on lots of vids esp camera ones.....Is there anyone out here willing to add to my user startup? just i have birdie and i cante get it to work right...I have tried doing what ppl have told me to do in here but cant do it right? Thanks again ppl.........

What kind of setup do you have? like cpu, ram and such
And is this happening mostly on high action scenes/fast camera movements?

Well it skips on alot vids but it stops on all the camera vids once they ended...I have 3.1 rom/060 128mb and a voodoo 3000.....
