VGA monitors
« on: August 20, 2009, 02:17:25 PM »
I have a monitor from 1995 which is apparently multiscan, but the same information sheet I got that from says its minimum horizontal frequency is 30KHz, which would suggest it wouldn't work outside of Workbench without a scandoubler. Am I correct? <--- EDIT: further reading and I've discovered that "multiscan" and "Amiga-compatible multiscan" are two different terms >.>

*goes to look at other CRT monitor in vain hope that that'll sync down* <--- EDIT: No dice

Also, my LCD TV/monitor can display the Amiga in composite mode, but does that necessarily mean it'll be able to sync down to 15KHz in VGA mode?
