A600 Floppy
« on: August 16, 2009, 01:48:24 AM »
I just rescued an A600 on its way to demolision. :) Poor thing had a smashed up keyboard, which I managed to fix. Im sure it hadnt been powered up for years and years, but it came alive nicely, even the HD spun and booted the OS.

Problem though, DF0: seems to be dead; shows up as DF0:??? on WB and it wont recognize any disk I feed it with. So, anyone know if there are replacement drives available, and if so, where these can be bought? Dont know if ive seen them on eBay, but they seem to be scarce.... Maybe it can be sent off for repair?

Any advice is appreciated!

Hi,
what model is the disk drive? sure you can send it for repair.  And guess what?  I'm in an awesome mood, I won't charge you for it :-).   Free repair, just pay return shipping.  I also have new spare drives. private message me. :-D
