Unfortunately Starke was not compatible with the current PHP level that the Amiga.org server is running. ;)

Better to say that there are some who simply chose not to move forward when we were forced to make the decision to move ahead.

I know by far that we're better off, and I know that by far the largest majority of site users are happier than they were, but it's those very few who abandoned the site which still bother me.

It may all be a moot point as contributions have stopped and memberships have petered out.  We're just into the waiting game now.

I was just joking. I've no idea where Starke is hanging out. I don't think Starke will be sorely missed by many, though I'm sure some of us will smile when they remember his vigorous posts.

AFA A.org is concerned, you did a bang up job. I can't really say that I've noticed those very few who decided to abandon the site. No big loss there I'd say. All the regulars are here and the spirit of the old A.org is definitely here. I must say I was sceptical at first (though not negative) but A.org is still one of my must-check sites every day. I'm pleased to see that it will probably remain so for the years to come and that's a good thing.

If you were here I'd buy you a beer. Cheers!

It seems to me that there are more people posting and using the site than for a long time.  A lot of people who have not really been posting since they set up their accounts years ago.  Lets hope it lasts,  Thought it could just be beacuse its all new and will peter out a bit.

This is easily the best incarnation yet.  Brilliant job.  And I feel rather guilty andd as I have used the site for about 10 years I have just subscribed for 12 months.
