I think it makes perfect sense to port MorphOS to PPC mac. There's loads of old mac kit kicking around.

It would be rather nice if OS4.1 were ported too.

Well, the second hand PPC Mac market is the last possible PPC option they can utilize, before jumping either to x86 or ARM.

BTW, some of the new features in the MorphOS 2.3 release clearly indicates the move towards Mac hardware, which I find to be quite assuring! :-)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

Cool. Always liked Mustangs, and been dreaming of one myself. Both "old school" and "NG" ones, for different reasons! (a bit like the Amiga perhaps ;-))

Yeah, it's one of the few cars I've had that I wasn't bored with in a couple of months.

One of the late 70s/early 80s Stingray models is kind of on my list, but they're the only ones that catch my eye and old cars are a pain I've dealt with too often.

Hmm, that would be nice. I have an old iMac G4 (iLamp) my brother is currently using. I'd be thrilled to see some Amiga-like OS running on this thing of beauty.

Amen to that!  Now that we have AmigaOS4.1 released for the Pegasos, maybe one of the next targets will be one of the G4 PPC Mac models.

If Hyperion really wants to impress me and get me to seriously consider switching from MorphOS to AmigaOS4.x, all they have to do is port AOS4.x to a G4 PPC Mac model that is faster and better than the lowly MacMini.  Not too much to ask for and without anything better than the SAMep and SAMflex boards available right now, why not port AmigaOS4.x to one or more of the old PPC Mac's?
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)
