I found in a thread somewhere that the device is named "stardrive.device". Say I do rename scsi.device to that...what then? I'm not even sure the specs of the MicroNet ext SCSI drive I have for it -- 1GB maybe. How do I get it mounted, formatted? The device uses the AMD (NCR orig) 5380...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCR_5380...used in the Trump Card, Phoneix board, etc. FWIW.blakespot
I bet the drive is just too big. That scsi drive(er) is too old. Try a smaller one.
Ya, even 100MB is way more than I need on this A1000.Oddly, when I scanned eBay, all the 50MB, 100MB, 250MB etc. old SCSI drives are like $80!! WTF?! I just bought a 320GB drive for my SAMiga for $69, new!!blakespot
