Doomy,

There is a version of AsimCDFS that will run under 1.3. I have it packed away somewhere. Haven't seen it in years.  A 3000 may be the way to go for you. If you get one with the original ROMs (not 2.04) the early boot screen gave you an option of soft kicking into 1.3 or 2.x. Of course a rom switcher for your 2000 would do the same trick.
Your 2000's may be built like a tank but a 3000 may have been the best Amiga ever built!  :-D

BTW Doomster I own 1 1000 in pieces now, 1 500, 6 2000's, 2 3000d's, 3 4000d's, and 1 4000t. The 4000t and 3000's are much better machines than the 2000's although the 2000's do put out a very good video signal out of their genlocks.

So you say, but I see you utterly failed to respond to my challenge...

As I said earlier, why dont you save yourself a sackful of grief and give WHDLoad a spin on your A2500? I guarentee you will not be dissapointed.
If my 'nothing internal in common with A500' KS3.1 AGA based A1200T with its 040/PPC/BVision can play some of the most hardware-bashing, floppy disk only, OS1.3 games ever written via WHDLoad, I am sure your A2500 will. Try it, what have you got to lose?

Third, I never have any problems with my Amiga 2000 Series computers.

So how come you keep asking for so much elemental help with them?

First of all, I am not fat. I am a slender, good-looking man that should be a model. I am half English and half German and ALL European. As far as pride is concerned, if you were me, The DoomMaster, you would have a lot to be proud of, but you are not, so you just talk crap.
If everyone who is not DoomMaster talks crap, why ask them questions(silly question I know; I'm a hypocryte)?

I'm not sure of AmiCDFS's 1.3 compatibility.  But, older 1.x versions of AmiCDROM worked.  Also, as mentioned above the commercial Xetec works with 1.3.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

If you got off your fat ass and just swallow your pride and just get and Amiga 1200, 3000 or 4000 then you will get none of this problems.

How could i be talking crap when its you that talks a crock of ####e all the time. Anyway, i have a CD ROM and CD RW on my toy Amiga 1200 and have had no problems with them whatsoever, you big gob ####e! :-)

Oh yeah, when you say you look like that GI Joe figure, do you mean genetal wise!

You enjoy making people feel bad about themselves don’t you DoomMaster?  You continually put people down for WHERE they're from and what type of computer to they use.

You've clearly stated before that people from America are inferior and that they have NO work ethic!

Why don't you stop stereo typing people you RACIST!  You're making me and probably a lot of others that read this forums feel UNCOMFORTABLE and VIOLATED.

I'd appreciate you not making hurtful generalizations about people based on race, religion, national origin, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, or computer choice.

I think there can be appropriate times to make jokes (in good humor) about where someone is from or gender jokes etc..  BUT NOT WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO BE VENDICTIVE, RUDE, DEMEANING, and HURTFUL.

I would hope the next time DoomMaster makes a statement DEMANING and entire countries people that he would get MODERATED!

Actually, I think he was just stating that he isn't too happy with the fact that he is a halfbreed.

@ odin

 :-D lol :-D

That statement by itself is not offensive, but the context in which he was saying it was that if you're not European you're a twit.

He has posted in other threads about what thinks about people that are not from Europe.  He has also blatantly made broad stereotypes just to insult people here and yet he never gets moderated...

According to all those capitals and exclamation marks I think these postings totally lacks any manners or other aspects of civilization.
but to the point, if our DoomMaster is into vintage gaming, wich I am too, I can reccomend him to get AmigaExplorer and a harddisk for his A2000

cheers

Ehmm... guys... I think that our heads need a kind of defragment here.

First of all let me make my self clear with something:
I DO NOT SUPPORT DOMMMASTERS IDEAS.

But,

None of you has the right to offend him!
His ideas is his ideas and ALL OF US have to respect them. Anybondy who doesn't like democracy, can leave this forum. Thank you! :-x

Second: Despite doommys "professional and military A2000" ideas, I happen to have 5x A2000 and 3x A1200 amigas.
One of the A2000 plays the same animation (looping) since September 1990 , never swithed off, and never had a problem!

So, let ME (I know because i own 5 of them) believe that i have a professional computer. (NOT a military though.. :-D )

Clear so far?

So, let your EGO go away and try something to help him.

THANK YOU!    ;-)

Wow, electricity must be cheap there!  :-o
If I had free electric, I would like a A1000 playing
"polyscope" in the corner. :-)

No, electricity isn't cheap at all, but we are talking about a tv station.

The animation is the top-left corner logo of the station
