I have a toastscan scandoubler that I use with my A4000 and a cheap refurbished monitor both of which I bought from Software Hut. I was just curious, do these things ever show up on ebay? It couldn't be easier, it just plugs into the monitor port and then the monitor plugs into it.

Yes, they used to show up on ebay regularly and command high prices, but since the Indivision was released I have not seen them for sale or auction as often.  It would be interesting to see how much the price has dropped for the external Toastscan (which by the way was developed by the same person who does the Indivision).

Last year at AmiWest 2008 I demonstrated the improved image quality of the Indivision compared to the Toastscan from my A1200 using a vga switch box and the output of both devices going to the same CRT monitor.  I had both the Indivision and the Toastscan running at the same time from the same A1200 and just switched back and forth to show the difference between the two displays on the same monitor.  The Toastscan is good, but the Indivision is better.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

@AmigaDave,

Ahh! missed that demo at Amiwest'08- I must have been talking too much to see it.

But I concur with your assessment, Indivision AGA is much better than the old Toastscan.  Most monitor displays are flat screen LCD now so the Indivision is the only compatible choice amongst Amiga scandoublers.

Hello fellas!!

I am thinking seriously to buy a minimig. Is it wise to wait for a 2.0 release or is it too far away?

@amigakit > any special discount for amiga.org users?? :) pretty please :P

Thanks in advance!

@amikit

Do you offer SCSI to IDE adaptors with included CF cards? They would have to adapt this type of SCSI port.

I tried this code and all it gave me was 10p off! Should this have been 10%?

Damn, I've been out of touch for several months as the company I work for has been running me all over the place.  I'm so glad I spotted this.  I bought the RAM chips to add an extra 1MB, but I haven't had the time to fit them (or the balls).  4MB is even better!

As I purchased my Minimig from you I take it that this is a guaranteed upgrade and if you mess up my working board then you'll fix it or replace it?

Also, do you need me to send my ARM controller & SD Card with the board so that you can verify that it all works?  I've also shorted out the 2 resistors on my board (as per Jacub's mod) to increase the hard file access speed.  Does this pose a problem?

Regards.

As long as the board was sold from us, the warranty is still valid on the board and it is working 100% before we commence work, we will guarantee our work.

Discount code should give bigger discount now ;-)
