Using original toaster with toster 4000 software

I installed a Toaster 4000 in my towerized Amiga 4000 and it works fine. Now I want to put an original toaster card in my A2000, can I use the same software (45 disks) that can with the Toaster 4000 or do I need the older software for the original?

The CD-ROM release of the Toaster software definitely covers both Toaster variants, but I'm not sure about the disk version... Sorry!
