US$1000 for a 733 MHz G4 with half a gig of RAM.  Woohoo, let's party like it's 1999!

why do you people bother?

I own 2 SAMs and will buy another model too... who cares about the cost, you obviously waste your money on booze or kids, either way, I feel alot more sorry for you than for me shelling out a few thousand for a couple of MBs that are way cheaper than what I used to pay for Amiga gear in 1986 etc...

What I'd like to know is if everything in your lives is solely dependant on the price what exactly do you do with all this extra money you collect?

Do you really think what you choose to spend money on is more worth while? Ups your quality of life and in comparison to whos ideal? LOL... life is strictly a perception, but I do know one thing, if it wasn't for people like myself that supported these smaller distributions you and your lot surely would never get an option to buy a cheaper faster system in years to come...

keep on keeping on Amigakit, I'm waiting for the next model!

These boards do not have any issues when using both memory modules- this was fixed about 6 weeks ago with the QuickFix from Hyperion.

Why is the Sam Flex so expensive? come on £629 for a half a gig memory under 1Gig machine? is it 1999? When I could buy a crappy windows machine for £429 and with a monitor? Wish Amiga inc would step up and make some hardware and stop messing about with making rubbish mobile games that no one buys . 15 years ive waited.... you could get this for £429....
