I've got a 3000T set up just like that, but I probably paid less for the whole thing than you did for the DMAC. 
Congrats on getting yours going. These Amigas are nothing but headaches sometimes.
Hey! hehe.. probably, this SuperDmac was expensive indeed, however not as expensive as some others I've seen on ebay...
This A3000 of mine is a really lovely machine, it's in great condition and I wanted to update it... it's really worth it. I plan to use a good accelerator in it and some other goodies...
