I have downloaded the aros bootable iso, how the flying balls , do i un tar it, can somebody point me in the right direction of where to get the program to do this.

If you downloaded with Windows Explorer, then you will notice that the file has the extension .tar.tar

this is wrong it should be .tar.bz2

You need to un Bzip the file fisrt winRAR and WinACE can both do this. Or I can send you a Dos program to do it.

Once you have un Bziped the file it is a TAR file, that can be opened with any dearchive (WinRAR, WinACE and WinZIP).

You can extract the ISO file and then burn it to a CD... boot your computer with the CD and enjoy :-D
