Aladdin development seems stagnant. It's been stuck on the 4Dth version for 15 years. Maybe it's time for version 4D1? Even 4D.01 would do. SOMETHING to indicate that SOMETHING is going on.  :idea:

Curious... how will you verify customers don't run Amiga Forever / WinUAE on Vista?

We took it over a little over a year ago and it takes time to get up to speed on another companies code. We had no control over it before that. Version 5.0 came out in 1999, and 5.1 Alpha after that. You are right though it went too long without an update. Our internal versions are not ready for the public yet.

If you're interested in 3d graphics on the Amiga (or with UAE) then Aladdin 4d is not a bad purchase.  Okay, it's not the latest software compared to PC stuff - but it's still very capable.  Also, it comes in a nice glossy box with a wonderful thick detailed manual.  Feels good to get Amiga software like that in 2009 and it also supports Amiga developers.
