UnRAR and LAME updated!

New versions of the popular tools LAME and UnRAR are now available from Amiga.sf - Those are LAME 3.98.2 Compiled for 68020 and 68060 and UnRAR 3.80 compiled for all m68k flavours, WarpOS, MorphOS, and AmigaOS4.

Hi. I can't believe that i'm the first person to post a comment on this news item. :-D
 Wow.. First of all, Diego, it is so pleasant to see that you are back on the tracks. Welcome back and merry whatever! :pint:
 I am not sure if i would still be using an Amiga or if i would have forgot the whole thing altogether and moved to linux or something, if it wasn't your website and all the useful linux ports i have found in it. (MorphOS 1.4.5 PUP did not exist back then)
 I'm using your UnRAR port quite frequently as it has become the new standard of file archiving and it's the only up-to-date port for the classic AmigaOS. So, it is nice to see an updated version for a such important command. The previous WarpOS one was trashing memory badly and i had to use the 68k builds. I know that you are coding the WOS builds "in the blind" and that you are doing us a favour, so even if this hasn't been fixed, i will still be happy with the new 68k build.
 LAME, for the few people who doesn't know what it is, is one of the most advanced mp3 encoders.

 I will not forget to make a small donation to the site once i take care of some details regarding my CC and paypal account.

I recommend to use TheMPegEncGUI with the LAME for easy encoding.

3.80 for WarpOS was compiled quite same way as previous build, hence i assume it will have same issues... if you agre to betatest send me a mail and i'll reply you with a new wos build I'm compiling right now.
